Peter Quill's Grandfather, or rather known as Mr. Quill, is a minor character in the 2014 film, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Early life[]
Peter Quill's grandfather brings his grandson to his daughter, Meredith as she succumbs to her illness. It is quite clear that Mr. Quill will take care of Peter until his father comes back to get him. Meredith dies, but not before giving Peter a "Awesome Mix Vol. 1" Tape. However, on the same night, Mr. Quill loses both his daughter and his grandson at the same night.
